Hello all!!
Today in class, our Language Arts lesson was on point of view. In particular, we focused a lot on the difference between first person and third person. In order to practice our new knowledge, we spent time on an in-class assignment, making our own stories with a different point of view. As we spent time discussing first person and third person, we found that there are some good and bad factors to each one. Which leads me to your next blogging assignment...
Assignment (due 10/21/2009):
Step 1. List all the good and bad qualities for first person that you can think of
Step 2. List all the good and bad qualities for third person that you can think of
Step 3. Do you have a preference between the two when writing your own stories? Why or why not?
Reminders:
On Friday (10/23/2009) will have a quiz on all of the points of view we discussed this week!
